PixelCut Pro ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Photos & Images: When you use the background removal feature, your photos are sent to third-party cloud AI services for processing (see Section 4). The processed images are returned to your device. These services process your images in real-time and do not permanently store them. Locally, all editing and export operations happen on your device.
Usage Data: We may collect anonymized usage statistics such as feature usage counts, app version, and device type to improve our service. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Purchase Information: If you subscribe to Premium, your purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We receive a purchase confirmation token but do not have access to your payment details (credit card, bank account, etc.).
Advertising Data: For free users, Google AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID), IP address, and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide AI-powered background removal and photo editing features
- To manage your subscription status
- To display relevant advertisements (free tier only)
- To analyze anonymized usage patterns and improve the app

3. Data Storage & Security
Edited images are saved to your device's local storage. We do not store your photos on our servers. Cloud AI providers process images in real-time and do not retain them after processing is complete. We use industry-standard security measures (HTTPS/TLS encryption) for all data transmission.
4. Third-Party Services
Our app uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- remove.bg (Kaleido AI): Cloud AI background removal service. Images are sent for processing via their API. Privacy Policy

- Google ML Kit: On-device machine learning for offline selfie segmentation. All processing occurs locally on your device. Terms

5. Data Retention
We do not retain your photos or personal images. Cloud AI services process your photos in real-time and do not permanently store them. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained for up to 24 months to improve our services. Subscription purchase records are maintained by Google Play.
6. International Data Transfers
Your photos may be transferred to servers located outside your country of residence when processed by cloud AI services (remove.bg and Photoroom). These transfers are necessary to provide the background removal service and are protected by HTTPS encryption.
7. Children's Privacy
Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete any locally stored data by clearing the app cache or uninstalling the app
- Opt out of personalized ads through your device's ad settings
- Request information about any data we hold about you
- Request deletion of any data associated with you
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
